-- Join us for the Highlanders new player camp to be held January 31, 2009, at Rio Vista Park (101 and Thunderbird Rd). Please join us for lunch and a complete intro to the game of rugby!

-- We plan to start practicing for the year informally on Jan 13 at the SE Corner of 59th Ave and Greenway. If you can make it, come on out. The formal season kick off will be the new player camp on Jan 31!

Welcome to Highlanders Rugby Football Club
Highlanders RFC is the first and only rugby football club in the northwest Phoenix area dedicated to high school age and under-19 players - note that players over 19 are also welcome and can play with Thunderbird Rugby Club.

The Highlanders welcome both experienced and new players alike - and parents looking to get involved in a great sport! Please take a few minutes to review our site pages (links listed above) for full information regarding the team and playing rugby in the U.S. - parents have a dedicated information page.

You must complete 3 steps to be able to play with the Highlanders (links for all steps are provided above):

Parental Consent: Have your parents review, print and sign the permission terms on the Player Info Form page
Players (CIPP) Card: Complete the online CIPP player registration required by the U.S. Rugby Union for all rugby players in the United States ($35 fee).
Player Info Form: Complete the online team registration form required of all Highlanders team members
